A Healthy Diet is Possible with Conscious Consumption from Macronutrients to Micronutrients.

Foods contain the nutrients our body needs to function. Four of the nutrient classes required for bodily function are needed in large quantities. These are; carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water and are called macronutrients. Micronutrients are vitamins and minerals. The measure of the quality of a food is related to the amount of energy it provides and the amount of nutrients it contains.
All micronutrients should be obtained from foods rather than food supplements. Food supplements only contain what is listed on the label, but foods contain more macro and micronutrients and other chemicals such as antioxidants that are beneficial to health.
